Bio: An accountant by profession who loves arts so much, that one day decided to go into photography. And in case anyone's wondering about my nick, well 'Zamrud' is actually 'Emerald' in English....for my love of jeweleries. :)

Trying to depict a quarrel between 2 lovers with the clash of tones and the chaotic patterns of the tree branches. Portrait of a street beggar A first time shoot for the model Shot outdoors...morning sunlight was the only mainlight used to shone onto her face  + 2 strobes onto her hair to separate her from the dark background of the metropolitan train station in the heart of the busy city life. Portrait of a lady These are boat people who lives off of remote islands in East Borneo, far away from other human, technology, electricity and clean water. It's been a humbling experience meeting them.
