Bio: Its been a little over a year now since i purchased my first DSLR & i feel ive come a long way in that short time. The only problem is ive now become very self critical & nearly always find something in my photos im not happy with. Maybe this is normal for most photographers. Please let me know.

My 2nd shot from Swanage. I almost missed this shot as i was concentrating on a small jetty to the right of this. This is the first time since January that i have been able to upload. This shot was taken at a place called cavtat in Croatia. My 2nd shot from Hartlepool. (my apologies to anyone from hartlepool for the spelling mistake on the title of the first shot) Another shot from Portland, this one was taken the other side of the lighthouse to what is traditionally photographed. Got lucky that the figure in the distance stayed still for this long exposure shot. A panoramic taken during a family walk close to where i live. I had been waiting all week for a colourful sunset to get this shot. Taken at Durdle Door over the bank holiday weekend. I didnt think i was going to get any shots in at all as the coast was heaving, glad i hung about though.   Will upload shot details when i get more time. Another shot taken of Sopworth barn, this time a more traditional horizontal panoramic. Bambusrgh Castle. One of many shots taken on my recent trip up north. One of three at sunrise from my recent trip to Swanage, his is probably my favourite from the whole trip. Please view expanded Another shot from the lake district, this time of blea tarn on a very windy day. gave this one the hdr treatment to help bring out the detail in the hills. I spotted this field & the way the light was hitting it on the way home from Wilton windmill so i decided to stop and take a few shots. Another early morning shot from Bassenthwaite. This was taken on a lane that runs along the side of Gatcombe park just up the road from my house, I had noticed a perfect yellow sun slowly heading towards the horizon on the way home from a trip out so i grabbed my camera & headed for this spot, unfortunately i was just to late to catch the full sun setting. This was taken as the sun was setting at Portland. Couldnt quite get the shot i was after as i had to race to get there in time and was a little to late, i also couldnt get the viewpoint i was after because of fishermen.  So i made the best of a bad job & came away happy anyway. Another shot from Berrow beach. A four shot stitched panorama of a beautiful misty autumn morning at Bassenthwaite. This is the only lake in the lake district, all the others are either a water, mere or tarn. Ive not been able to get out with the camera since my trip to the lake district, so here's another shot from there. This is the first of several shots taken on an overnight stay in Swanage. I took this on a return visit to Kilve recently. Unfortunately i got the tide times wrong so the rock formations that are visible at low tide were completely covered. So i thought i would make do & grab a few shots of the pebbles. As i was walking down the beach i noticed a large pebble with writing stenciled on it & thought it would make for a decent foreground interest Taken at Poole harbour as sunset was approaching. Didnt have time to hang about for sunset, wish i could have though.
