Bio: Always been keen on photography it was buying a Canon 400D that started my apetite for it when travelling in different parts of the world, since then I have bought the 5D then the 5D mkII and now exploring medium format through the Pentax 645D

having been there in 2009 and been without a tripod on that occasion so forced to shoot at f/7.1 and ISO of 2500 I returned with a tripod and my Pentax 645D This was taken at Chester's Cafe where birds like to feed on the crumbs people leave behind. This robin seems to be saying: Went for a walk around the streets with traditional korean houses and came across some interesting streetlamps. I liked the character of them This wood trader caught my ete as I walked the streets of Seoul It's been a blustery few days in the North of England! Always a great volume of water at Skelwith after rain. 3 shots merged in photomatix I've stood back - well actually done a wider crop of the same shot I love coffee and have a small commercial espresso machine made by Fracino. I originally shot the whole machine, but prefer this crop. Got stopped regularly asking me what I was taking photographs off by the Mannheimers themselves. I was drawn to the lines and always saw this as a B&W shot. Converted with Silver Efex Pro2 Taken after the sun had set on my new FA 55-110 at 60mm, f/16 7 min30 expsure with ND400 (the one advantage of the thread of the lens is I now have two 82mm to use ND with!) Mumbles Pier is over 100 years old and where Julz and I spent some of our first date. It is now closed indefinitely for structural tests. The day started bright but turned cloudy in the afternoon. A lovely sunny day in the Lakes and a pretty still Grasmere Found this interesting water feature - the water tasted good too! This sweet little girl was sat in front of us on the boat from a ride on a submarine that allows you to see fish below the surface. The children were given starfish at the end of the trip and her dad had been teasing her about the starfish and she was fee At the end of a 14 mile walk earlier in the year, the light started to change for the better (and got better still but had to get the last bus so missed it!). I walk in this area very regularly and have many images. This is 1 of my faves I had just got back from Austria when all the way back from Cardiff I could see a gorgeous sky developing. Before grabbing a takeaway, I grabbed my tripod out of the car and snapped away I was eating dinner on the South Bank when the sky turned gorgeous, so grabbed my camera put it on my tripod and ran out of the restaurant to grab a few shots before the light changed. I'm quite a regular so don't think they thought I was doing a runner! I figured that the skies were perfect for a slow release, although the Golden Jubillee bridge was as busy as it usually is. It feels like a very iconic viewpoint and I'm always drawn to it when in London This is an adjusted and colour version of the last shot I had another look at this shot, and in my original version I was trying to hard to get Big Ben correctly exposed when it wasn't necessary. So adjusted levels in curves to give enough detail to use it as context but have rest of the scene well exposed Tidied up this image, tweaked the levels and sharpened it a little....Still one of my favourite ever photos
