Bio: When I was about 16, I tried taking a macro type picture with a 110 camera...try as I might, it just didn't work! Times are different now, and I still love taking pictures. I realize I have a lot to learn and would welcome any thoughts, insights and tips! One note on this...Please, If you decide you want to downgrade my images, at least have the courage to say why and not do it anonymously!!! I realize I am probably speaking to 1 or 2 people. To the others who take the time to view my gallery and leave comments...a sincere Thank You! It means a lot to me!

The US101 Bridge from the view of my room at the Holiday Inn Express in Astoria, OR. Took the window apart to be able to set up my tripod. This bridge goes across the Columbia River...where the river meets the Pacific Ocean...Washington on one side, Oregon on the other. It was one beautiful night! This cemetery is located in Bellingham, WA. It has really old tombstones and lots of moss and beautiful trees! I stressed this photo in places to get this effect and I kinda liked it...Hope you all do! This was taken in a park in Port Moody, Canada a couple of years ago! Found this antique on the way to someplace... Messing around with a new computer...so it is taking me longer to get images on the new one as I still don't have all the programs on that I need! Anyway, I hope you like the next few gerbera images. PS...Pete, thanks for the lesson as it helped a lot! I have been messing around with my software on my computer and figured out how to get shadows out of images! Yeah! I also turned it into a mono and I like it even better! Hope you all do! Chow! Last one in the series "letting my hair down".  Lol...:O)  Anyway, this is my favorite one taken that evening. I hope you like it! Taken at Anacortes State Park, Wa. This picture was taken at sunset on the waterfront at Bellingham, WA.  It was really stormy that evening.  I didn't really want to leave as the waves were so amazing.  It was taken with 35mm film. This is one thing I miss about NE...being able to see for miles. I think this image might have been taken through a window! Thus the fuzzy look about it! 2nd in a series I am caling "letting my hair down a little". I took this image in the morning sun in our little kitchenette. It is one of my favorites for the morning! It is such a Happy Flower! This mountain is located in the North Cascade Mt. Range not to far away from Mt. Baker. It is so beautiful up there.  Left me awestruck.
