Bio: I Have been interested in photography for about 10 years and wish to pursue it further. I am self taught, and would really appreciate your comments and critique on my images. I am interested in all forms of photography but have a soft spot for portraits, landscape, architectual and still life. I presently own a Nikon D700 and a D80 with a few lenses as well as a portable lighting system. Photshop CS5 is a great piece of software and I use it a lot to edit my photos, bringing out bursts of colour...I love vibrant colours, especially skies.

Another shot taken at Pinecrest Lodge, Ontario, Canada. This is part of a series I am doing of this wonderful area on the Ottawa River. Processed in Photomatix and Photoshop CS5. For those who commented on the previous image, many thanks...but do care to view this one instead. Last in the series Another night shot with full moon. Another macro shot of dew drops. Taken on a bright day at an Indian carver's workshop, Canada Macro shots taken of 4 fruits and veg over a light box then combined into 1 image.  I saw this tutorial in the recption area of the dentist the other day and thought I would give it a go.  My light box has a diffused pane of glass on it which does not quite give the best results...maybe I'll change the glass to clear and do it again!  The 4 Nikon RAW files are: DSC_1860.NEF, 1862.NEF, 1865.NEF and 1866.NEF Another shot of the 39 Dodge, Quebec, Canada. A series of photos on the Cape Peninsula. Another shot taken in Ottawa with my new 70-200mm lens. Took this image of the statue in London about 2 years back and did not know quite what to do with it until today.  I have removed the background and place a photo of clouds behind in Photoshop CS5.  Oh! This was taken from a London Bus and I hope I have the name of the statue right? An archive shot taken last year at the annual Algonquin tribe POW WOW, Ontario, Canada.  The ceremony which takes place every year at the Algonquin Reservation is just magical, filled with colour, beautiful Indian nik naks and loads of food to eat. This was taken yesterday evening just before sunset.  Spotted these dramatic clouds which still had a bit of sunlight in them. A shot of one of the unusal statues at the VA& Waterfront, Cape Town. I just had to convert this photo to B&W! A shot of a decorated doorway to an Indian Restaurant, Cape Town. Taken the other at the beach in Melkbosstrand, Western Cape. Processed in Photomatix and Photoshop CS5. This is a view of the entrance to the 5000 seat theatre at the casino in Cape Town.  The have been many great international shows held here to name a few, Cirque du Soleil  , Rod Stewart, Chris Rock etc. etc. Another shot of the Ottawa River, early morning mist. Processed in Photomatix Pro and Photoshop CS5. Another night shot with fountain.  Trying to get used to night shots.
