Bio: Professional Photographer, 9 years. Self taught in digital photography and Adobe Photoshop. My goal is simple, to be a staff photographer for a well respected publication. I get really excited when I see something within my minds eye, composing as I go- The process is as exciting as the end result. I love my kids- All I do is with you in mind so that some day you can see what I experienced through the lens and you too develope a passion for photography to share with others ~

 I titled this "not just any sunset," because I have seen countless sunsets as a photographer, as I had just minutes to compose this shot, in San Clemente, Ca. as the sun was setting, I knew this sunset was special, the colors...the contrast of shadow...the saturation, the sand and milky waves spelled out to me this was the one I had to "get". One of the most if not thee most beautiful sunsets I'd ever seen was taking shape in front of me. This picture almost never became a reality, I only had 10 or so minutes to drive and find parking, walk and get into position, and adjust my camera as I saw the sun setting, I began to froth at the mouth, that I might miss this chance, all the elements had aligned at once, I was determined. I hope you enjoy the results.      Tim Copeland- San Clemente Pier, Orange County, Ca. A winter wonder land, Big Bear 2007. It felt like being in one of those snow globes...winter wonder. Floating through the Newport harbor I found what I felt was a creative "Zin" feeling while framing this shot. The calm water, the masts standing tall, the sail boats remind me of soldiers who are ready for inspection. The colors and composition, I felt were worthy of taking this shot. I hope you enjoy it.
