Looking across Loch Leven towards the pap with the village of Glencoe to the right That Castle again. From the archives. Looking straight down Glen Etive. I thought the view through the gate to this much photographed castle was attractive in its own right. Not been able to get out so much recently so I,m playing with macro. Liked the shallow dof on this one isolating it from the bg. A small derelict cottage in Bonar Bridge, Scottish Highlands. It was the stairs on the outside of the building and the red roof that attracted my attention. It was a bit of a windy day when I took this image thus the blurred fg This old wreck lies on the beach at Talmine on the north coast of Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands. I'd like to say thanks for the support on my uploads since I returned to DP, very much appreciated. Another imag from the Glen Coe area. Another crocosmia bud. Yes, it's that castle again. My favourite photo location and living in the Highlands there may well be more of this very attractive castle. Not the usual view but I quite liked the green grass in the fg. Normally this is a much photographed waterfall. However it looks just as attractive with no water. Kirk Michael On the Black Isle just North of Inverness, Scottish Highlands. This is a reworked version of an image I had uploaded to the site when I was a member previously. Unlike the previous version this had had very little done to it in the way of ps work. A slightly different view from yesterdays upload. An attractive castle without the sunset. But as the sun sets over the mountains of skye the whole loch starts to glow and the scene comes to life. Looking across Lochan Na Stainge towards Black Mount in the Scottish Highlands on a crisp day in January. I wanted a smoother effect on this image that I would normally have in a landscape image. So a bit of work in ps to produce this, not to everyones taste I'm sure but I liked the effect and sometimes it's good to experiment. This may well go down like a lead balloon but wanted to see what sort of reaction it got on here. It reminded me of the vision I get when I look in the wet mirror in the morning. Be honest if you don't like it, please say so. Been away from the site for over a year now, but looking forward to uploading again. Much photographed, I've done it many times and may well do it again.
