Bio: Started life on a remote farm in West Wales. Feel very lucky as this was a really spiritual place. Had Quaker education. Later went to the Sorbonne and then Blackpool School of Art and completed successfully an Institute of Photography three year course. Then took a Landrover from Wales to South Africa. Stayed down there for 10 years and worked with re-constitute Satilite images of the Earth. Feel very lucky again. Now back in the UK and taking images of Wildlife mainly

Taken on 13/05/2000. Today is the last day I could use the pink blossom to use as a backdrop to a Blue Tit. Common Blue Butterfly posing on a Daisy As Summer is almost completely gone, I have have been out enjoying the dragonflies having their last bit of fun This is a Great Tit bullying a Smaller Blue Tit The Autumn has at last come after a rather bad Summer and the berries are out looking great Autumn has at last started and I have now begun looking at the berries and birds. The season is almost over now so my last effort at Dragonflies A Ladybird in a Dandelion. I have bought a new macro lens over the winter and this is my first opportunity to use it. A Blue Tit in the Evening Light flying about I have been having fun whilst waiting for a new job to come up. The weather is getting more difficult for birds and they are much more active and friendly towards feeding hands. I put out some bird food and the Great Tit is feeding on it at present during this image. The Blue Tit here is begging to be allowed onto the feeding station with the Great Tit. A Marbled White butterfly on red clover flower This image was taken at the start of April. Using a Nikon D700 and a Nikon 300mm F/4 lens A Marbled White Butterfly on a Daisy. Taken in the evening against the light. Damselflies taken in the evening against the light Orangetip butterfly on a white flower. This butterfly is almost over it's season. Another Great Tit over Spindle Berries, I am enjoying the season of Spindle Berries. It is almost over now so I will not be bothering you again with these images. This is a Great Tit playing in the late evening sunlight Blue Tit after being soaked in the English Summer The weather at last has been improving. This butterfly is very large and dramatic. It posed on thistles with a background of shadows in the local woods.
