Nipped out from our band's soundcheck to take this image from a nearby bridge... An autumnal sunrise in my hometown of Scarborough, looking across to our ancient castle headland. Moody monochrome of one of our local piers. A classic and massively photographed view, I know, but couldn't resist after trekking up there! Surprisingly challenging light to post process...hope it looks natural! After stumbling about in the nearby woods searching for the right location in the almost pitch black, I was treated to this amazingly pink sunrise. Another very popular location for photogs; so I was searching for an alternative composition and came up with this one... A alternative view of one of Ullswater's waterfalls. Classic NYC taxi, with the Empire State peering through the trees behind. Class NY, with a sepia(ish) colour wash... Lone tree in a field at the top of a local hill!
