I shot this on Holy Island around 5.30am during November 2011. I have not been around the galleries recently so my apologies for that. I will endeavour to visit my favourites very soon...regards Dave F Image taken at Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland Image shot last year in the Lake District. This beck runs down the Honnister Pass to Buttermere. Image taken in St Anton in Austria. I think the title speaks for it's self however the added bonus for the image was the tractor in the field behind the grave yard. Image taken at Blairbeg Farm on the Isle of Arran. I was lucky to catch the breeze which moved the tyre hanging from the tree, which I think balances the picture. Your views would be much appreciated as always. This lovely tarn lies almost exactly midway between Angle Tarn Pikes and Brock Crags, on the far eastern fells above Patterdale & Hartsop. The real bonus was the weather, January in the Lakes with the sun shining and blue sky, still chilly though, the tarn still had some ice on it. DF Taken at Aqualete Mere in Staffordshire. Not quite a pair of tits of the same species but a Great Tit and Blue Tit leaving a giant seed feeder at the nature reserve. Image taken a few days ago at Attingham Park A man made lake high in the Austrian Tyrol I shot this in Craster harbour in Northumberland a few weeks ago, the light was going fast as the approaching storm moved in, however with the sun at my back and the tripod down as low it would go I managed to get a few frames. On a clear day in  the Lake District this image was taken again at Angle Tarn looking towards The Birks, St Sunday Crag & Fairfield mountains. Image taken a few days ago high on the Staffordshire Moorlands.  The house is originally 16th-century, yet its interiors were extensively restored between the world wars by Graham Baron Ash to create a fascinating 20th-century evocation of domestic Tudor architecture. Packwood House contains a fine collection of 16th-century textiles and furniture, and the gardens have renowned herbaceous borders and a famous collection of yews   The magical light of the Northumberland coast with Dunstanburgh Castle in the background. This shot was taken on the same evening as the Sundowner post, the sun was much deeper into the sea with this one so the golden glow was more intense. How about a cocktail or two in the thatched bar?...has to be done. DF Location..Wells in Somerset, the moat runs around the Bishops Palace I thought about cloning the walker out of the shot but then decided it added depth and scale to the image, as always your valued comments are most welcome.
