The waterfalls wasn't as strong as expected in the famous Twin Falls near Caliraya.  The trek was quite slippery and dangerous, nevertheless you have to do what you can. We were fortunate to have a very nice sunrise spot near our resort of Silangang Nayon.  Even more fortunate was that after the previous days' overcast and rainy weather, we were blessed with clear skies and a beautiful sunrise. Played with some light painting on the foreground rock with a flashlight (handheld). Singapore, 2011 Marina Bay Sands as seen from underneath the Helix Bridge. The Marina Bay Sands is the darling of the Singapore skyline. This is just one of the many vantage points across the bay. Shot at the roof top of Greenbelt 4, Makati City.  Single exposure but I blended 3 different exposure settings using LR in PS CS3 to bring out the details especially the color of the sky. Singapore, 2011 At the same spot as the previous photo but in color and in portrait orientation. Light show just ended and wasn't blessed with clouds this night so I just decided to focus on depth. Capones Island, Zambales, January 2012 Second sunset from the trip. We all kept hoping and praying that the wind will sweep the clouds westward for a light treat as the sun sinks below the horizon. Prayers were answered! Shot with a Nikon D40x, kitlens and Hoya R72 IR filter. 100 secs, f/11, iso100 On the way home from Dingalan, Aurora you will find this solitary tree in the middle of the rice fields.  It made for an interesting foreground against the backdrop of the Sierra Madres. Going through my archive of photos just to practice my PP skills.  This one's also from Sisiman Bay when we were blessed by an awesome sunset last November. Taken at the American War Memorial in Manila Shot at Payong Payong Point, Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines. This is dedicated to Lynn Gutierrez Sun rises of Sampaloc Lake, Laguna Capones Island, Zambales, January 2012 Second day, second sunrise. Crazy amount of flare no matter how much I cleaned my lens and filters. This is about as good as it gets, all the rest are just too dirty for post.
