This is one of the world's most rare and largest flowers - found this one near Mt Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo. This one was about 40cm, but they can get as large as 90cm Took this from hotel window - handheld, lots of trial settings. Petronas towers look breathtaking at night After a fierce scuffle on our terrace the male finally got a good grip and they both remained motionless for about 15 minutes - so we are expecting! The ant just stood by and watched. Although 'complicated' I just had to take this pic for the textures and details of the old stones. I expect it will get turned into a boutique hotel before too long!
