I love photography and always try to capture and present interesting images that have caught my eye. My favourite types of photography include abstracts of just about anything, landscapes/seascapes and urban landscapes.

From the archives, kinda miss my old 1D... An asian friend of mine gave me this small jade green dragon to wish me fortune and happiness in the year of the dragon. This image is my small way of spreading those wishes to all the people I know, and those that read these words, All the Best of the Dragon... The result of getting in a little bit too close...Birds screaming and feathers flying...Not every shot is a winner, but I really like the motionEnjoy, B... I like the mono version of this, it has great contrast. Maybe a little dark. I like this angle a bit better I could sit here and stare into the water and at the rocks for hours on a warm summers day... maybe a beer close at hand... B... A shot from my archives, I have editted this image several times and now I guess it is finished, I love the tones most of all. The one that got away... as it were... Still Life. Louise and I stopped in for a quick coffee at the Wakefield Train Station, on all of the tables there were fresh cut flowers in various containers and old bottles, I spotted this particular arrangement on a table close to a window... grabbed my 60D with the 70-200F4L attached and voila...a little LR and PS work and here ya go... I had to punch up the ISO when it took it to get shutter speed but I think with the grain I added in LR, it all adds to the feel of the shot... Wow, what a color scheme! Omega Park 2012 I was walking out of the trail when I came upon this group of Caribou crossing the frozen lake. There was a lot of noise and banging of antlers as some of them were sparring, like the ones at the far right of this photo. The sound of the antlers hitting together carries suprisingly far, I was amazed... B... Concept image This is a mono conversion of an older image.On one of the other forums that I particpate in, the suggestion was made that the image would be enhanced in monochrome, I think I agree, takes on more of a timeless feel, regards, B... For those that are interested the colour version is here One from my 2009 archives. A lovely lighthouse in the town of St. Martins, New Brunswick with the thick fog rolling in for the evening. The foghorn started sounding while I was taking photos, the first blast just about scared me off of a cliff that I was standing on. It was worth it though... I don't know where the white squares on the image came from, they are not there on the source image nor in the copy of the file that I uploaded... Weird... There must be a story here...Social commentary at least... A monochrome image that was just sitting in my working folder waiting to be finished off Feb 12, 2011 I have seen gallery members in the UK commenting about rain and grey skys in the last few weeks.
