........................................Brought up in the countryside of Gloucestershire, I've lived and worked all over the world. My work is wide ranging and eclectic, et j'adore the random and a touch of fun and mild humour that goes with it. I love people. In fact I love people of all shapes and sizes and backgrounds, and in whatever circumstances they find themselves in. I specialise in taking quirky shots of those who are self evidently real characters, free and enjoying living. For the most part I want the images of them to be unposed. So they are, as they are .... however unsetelling that might be to some. I like to try and not over crop too much as for me this helps provide context for the social commentary that sometimes challenges the boundaries of portraiture. This I hold dear to me. In their turn my portraits have become very dear to a number of my subjects; Seemingly held quite precious, possibly because they have an almost timeless quality.
