My son, Matt, and I visited my former Yonhap News Agency colleague Mr. Yi Do-Sun and his wife and daughters, while Mr. Yi was Washington Bureau Chief for Yonhap. He had been not only a reporter for the International Desk, when I was chief proofreader there, but Mr. Yi had also been my guide around Seoul, the first month or two I was in Korea, back in 1984. Mr. Yi's wife is a great cook and student of human relationships, while their daughters are both college graduates now, I believe.
