Nice shot Pete, I get what you say, most of the ducks that I see are semi-tame and are relatively used to people. The mallards around here are probably the tamest and are easier to snap... the ones that I want to shoot (I have a few unsatisfactory shots) are the Hooded Mansard and the Wood Duck, which are really wary of other ducks, let alone people...
