Beautiful icons as ever, Bill! I was supposed to come and see them myself this fall, but sadly my friend that i was going with canceled :( Until i finally do, i'm left with such great pictures as yours. I think you balanced the two main elements well here - the dead tree with the mountains in the back - and aside them you managed to incorporate a nice foreground element with the stream. Lovely work, as always! -

A lovely compositional piece of a much photographed area. The tree positioning is great and the foreground detail enticing. The rocks provide a good base for the image to sit on and the reflective light in the water help to add interest and contrast variety to the shot. The distant mountains are nicely graduated from the near and middle ground giving the image a good feel of depth and scope. Some lovely light highlighting the side of Bauchaille Etive Mor and a sense of wilderness provided by the middle ground and the streaming cloud base drifting over the summit. A very nice shot!
