Scaffold by Jeremy White
Health and safety is pretty much none existent round here as you can see the workers are held only by a single cable - and that is only for the guys on top the others are constantly clambering up and down un-aided.
Many, many thanks to all for viewing and anybody who has commented. This is one of those shots that you spot out of the corner of your eye. I always liked the power of the lines and fortunately the light came out at the most opportune moment to add the extra dimension. There's very little trickery involved here apart from a bit of dodge and burn and contrast enhancement.
Ironically I almost didn't post this shot, so thanks to the staf of DP for picking me out again. Cheers all.

Well deserved POTW Jeremy. Couldn't have put the sentiment any better. It is interesting though that when accidents and unfortunately deaths do occur from these incidents it is the supervising consultant's staff and management who get it in the neck often with a hefty fine and jail term for the direct supervisors, whether on site or not!!. The offending Contractor simply gets a smack on the wrist and a small fine . Life is cheap and there are plenty to replace those who are injured or pass away. Tragic. Your image tells a great story, should be in a gallery as Ed mentioned above. John -
