Morning Has Broken by Fraser McCallum
6am on Saturday found me stumbling through Amwell Nature Reserve in the pitch black hoping to make some images at sunrise. I was concerned by the descending mist, with good reason as not long after it obscured what had promised to be an astonishingly good start to the day.
However, when I got home and uploaded the images, I realised the long exposure had pulled in the merest hint of colour on the horizon, colour that my eyes just hadn't been able to discern in the gloom.
I'm humbled to have this chosen as POTW from so many other incredible images. Thank you to everyone for their support and comments.
