Penmon, Anglesey by Ian Flindt
This shot, taken as the sun set over the horizon at Penmon on Anglesey, was intended to capture the wave at the moment when it covered only a portion of the foreground pebbles, leaving the remaining wet pebbles exposed. In retrospect I think it would have been better had the sun been a little more central.
Exposure of 6 seconds at f/22.
Canon EOS 5D and EF 24-105mm lens.

Thanks, everyone. I did use a filter, Ollie. I believe (it was taken a little while ago now!) the filter was a 0.6 grad pulled down to the point where the pebbles (which I metered for) meet the open water. Ian -

Well lets not get too picky Ian! Still another cracker. Top marks, Rgds Ollie. P.S Have you used any filters with this shot, if so what?
