Portland Bill by Ian Flindt

A dramatic sea and threatening sky at Portland Bill on the Dorset coast. It's a long drive from East Anglia to Dorset and back again, especially when you discover on your way home that someone in their infinite wisdom has decided to shut down the M3 motorway for bridge repairs. We stumbled through our front door at 3.30am the following morning.

Many thanks for such generous comments, everyone. I really appreciate them. Crikey, Anthony, until you mentioned it I had never noticed the curviture of the horizon! I tend to use PT Lens to correct the wide angle distortion - clearly in this case it wasn't effective!
