any suggestion or advise?

I am going to Italy in April. My plan is to go to Rome, Florance, Venice, Milan. Is there any other places for photo opportunity beside those cities I go? also any travel advise appreciate it.

Bergamo is a beautiful city, and its not far from the Airport (Orio al Serio)... The old part of the city is wonderful, well worth a visit... Then there's Lake Garda, it's on your way to Venice. An awesome place to drive around, stopping at all the little towns while you enjoy the stunning views and mouth watering food.. Have a great journey

If you go to firenze( florence), just a few miles away is San Gimignano. it is half way between Firenze and Siena.
a small little village on top of a hill with lots of towers....and beautiful stone streets( you even got "the best ice cream of the world there....")

In you plan I can find Siena...
If you go to toscana mate, you HAVE TO see Siena. For my part, a lot better than Firenze.
but also really different.

if you have a car just drive around between these two cities( not on the highway but really on country side roads) and you will find at every corner just the beautiful tipycal toscany view...

You 're apparently looking at north italy, which is good, but if you can, go to Napoli, a bit south of it is the Amalfi coast, and there is a paradise on earth...

if you need anything else for italy ask more precisely, I will try to help you with what I know from this beautiful country

I 'm from France, but travelled 10 to 20 times already to italy...
and just to be sure,
if you don't drive, how are you gonna go on the country side road with a rented car? !?

I was also thinking to go to Frence but in my plan for next travel. I am sorry I do drive and have DL, that was a mistake typing which is already fixed. LOL
I mean I did't plan to drive in Italy but you made rethink it and already planning to rent a car.

where do you go in Italy claireg? I will stay in Rome April 11-12-13 Florence 14-15-16 Venice 17-18-19 Milan 20-24 and back to Rome 24 and back to Canada 25. If any date in any of those city let me buy you a beer

I recently traveled to Pisa and Florence. Florence is particularly beautiful for architecture and street photography. I'd also recommend taking a train to the town of Lucca, which is a small walled town full of beautiful streets and churches. Have a great trip!
