This cute little baby Coot got lost and wondered where its mum was. Luckily the mother swam over and brang it back to the rest of the family with daddy close by.

Hi, I was fascinated by your article in issue 114 on FOCUS STACKING. I've finally got around to trying it and this is my second attempt (using Helicon Focus) outside on a foggy, damp morning with no wind...

This picture was taken on a Spring time break (17th & 18th April, 2012) when I visited with my English wife Theresa, the picturesque Plastiras Lake, in Thessaly, Central Greece.

For some, spring has been a bit of a wash out so great effort everyone for venturing outside to get some beautiful shots!

Picking one winner has proved tricky, but this month's winning image goes to Blue.Train for their great shot of speedwells in a meadow. The artistic shallow depth of field, colour tones and low perspective all work well together, creating a fantastic spring feel. Great effort for also getting down low!

Well done everyone else and congratulations Blue.Train!

Spring here brings the "summer" Milky Way at night. This set of star trails show the Milky Way rising over the Atlantic Ocean from a beach in Strathmere, NJ.
