Take it east Ron, I've spent many a day in Liverpool and use to live in Manchester (and I've had my hub caps knicked!) Twas just a joke mate.

(oh, and I live in Scotland and yes most Scotsmen I know do drink whisky. I can't stand it personally)

I went to watch Liverpool once and parked my car down a side street. Two young scousers asked me "Two quid to look after your car mate." "No thanks" I replied "I've left the dog in the car, that will stop anybody nicking it." They both look at me and then said "Yeah, but can it put fires out." !!!!! Best two quid I've ever spent.

Hahah, that's brilliant. I love stereotypes and how sometimes you actually see them in real life and it's not possible to deny them. I know they are not valid for the general population, but when I had a flat in Berlin it was funny, cause everyone I worked with had fallen into their country's generalised category and it was hilarious to see. England is also full of stereotyped people.
