Wireless Flash triggers

Postby ALwin on Sun Apr 24, 2011 12:51 pm

Anyone recommend some very good Wireless Flash Triggers, with our without support for iTTL/E-TTL.

Since I use both Nikon and Canon cameras, I'm looking to buy a set for each. I've looked at Pocket Wizards but they are a little pricy, so if I can find something cheaper that would be great.

I can't recomend the yongnuo rf-602 triggers enough. They don't have ttl support but work perfectly and can be found at a very wallet friendly price and reviews online for them are also very good. I got mine from eBay but they can be found on other online retailers.

Thanks I'm looking into those too. Just want to hear what others have to say and their experiences with the devices.

Is this the ones you have?

A question about the Yongnuo triggers: does the transmitter have a button on it to manually trigger the speedlights without using the camera?

Got my RF-602s and I am enjoying using them. My main concern was the build quality, but looking at the triggers in my hand they seem pretty well done. Saved me a lot from buying PWs or other brands.

Ah I'm really pleased your happy with them. I have three speedlights, a remote timer, one trigger & three receivers from them and all have been better than I would of expected for the money.

I'm finding it difficult not to agree with you. I was ready to spend a few hundred on another brand but this has saved my pockets.
