Rosie,

You state "...You can submit up to three entires per category...", but the "small print" (i.e., Terms and Conditions) state "... a maximum of one entry per category per person is allowed..." What gives?

Also, I could not find any instructions as for the size and type of files, necessary information to accompany entries, etc., so I would appreciate any further clarifications.

Hi Slobodan
Apologies, amended T&Cs goping up as we speak.

Three entries per person, per category

Email your entries to awards@dphotographer.co.uk
Max 5MB per image (you may be contacted at a later date for your high-resolution file and shot details)

I've never entered a competition before but that HDR category has caught my interest, I'll be sure to enter that!

Shot details are beneficial but not a requirement. Just submit your images and if we need anything else we will contact you at a later date. Right now it's all about the images.

hi i have a few questions if you could help

1-should we just send the images without any info or should there be a name at least? if so can it be a pseudonym? then if required at a later date real info can be given. also more detailed info on how to send would be appreciated.

2-to win the photographer of the year award must we enter in all categories? if so do we have to win in all or just have a good portfolio? also if parts 2(a) & 2(b) are true what can i do about the motion and image editing entries since i am at a disadvantage in the motion photography my equipment might not be up to it, as for image editing i have no experience at all.

3-it would be great if dp could increase info on rules and terms of the competition especially if every category could be explained in detail of what to send or what could disqualify an entry. is that possible?

i am sorry to have inconvenienced you
thank you

The info is not essential but it's desirable. You can use a pseudonym if you really want to! Email your images to awards@dphotographer.co.uk

You do not have to enter every category to be eligible or win every category. Only enter the categories you want to enter

You can view all the terms and conditions on the website www.dphotographer.co.uk

Their really aren't many rules to follow - you can enter up to three images per category so just go for it! :D

hi its me again and i need help on another matter and thanks on the last post.

if a photo has the name of a certain company or brand e.g. there is a sign that says canon should it be removed?

if it has to be covered or removed are we allowed to edit the photo that much?

I would be grateful if you could answer before the 23rd so i can send in my photos.

thanks

Editing on this level is absolutely fine.
It's up to you if want to include branding or not. It depends if it's paramount to you image or not.
