Manual everything?
- focus
- shutter
- aperture
- iso
- white balance

Or just M mode on the camera dial?

The 3rd photo is nice though you could've placed the flower a bit more to the left and have it leading into the frame. The DOF in the first one needs to be greater, the foreground blur gets in the way of the frame.

Hi Alvin

First of all thanks for your reply.

As you well said I used auto focus but the rest of settings were on Manual Mode. Those are my first shots in this mode. I appreciate your comments

With many thanks
