Liverpool Docklands & Models

Postby JamesFarley on Wed Apr 18, 2012 1:21 pm

Some hump day pics from me, went on an open day of sorts on Sunday with a photography academy I’ve been involved in for a while - Welshot Imaging, around the Liverpool docklands area doing various things, including a full studio set up we had in a hotel conference room. Great day, if a little chilly down by the river!

Had Will Cheung with us too, and managed to blag a couple of rather expensive lenses off him to use for the day, difference in quality is incredible, certainly made me think about saving for some decent quality glass.

Also got to have a look at the Nikon D800 and Canon 5Dmk3, both incredible bits of kit, albeit very expensive, and finally had a play with a Lytro camera, very strange device and was getting some funny looks as taking pictures with it around the museum!

Won’t post all of them as there’s a few, more on the Flickr stream if you wanted a look.

Great shots and PP, James.

CC: I would remove the white area at the bottom right of No.1
And I would smooth out/fix the area between her eye for No.4
