2010 in Review

It's only been 14 months since I picked up my 1st Digital SLR and since then I've had lots of begginners luck! Not only did I manage to get a shot in a gallery in London, but one of my shots appeared on TV. I have no idea how I'm suppost to top that in 2011 but I'll sure give it a go!

What about you guys? what was your photographic highlight of 2010? and what are you looking to acheive in 2011?

Sounds like 2010 was a great year for you too! :D
In 2010 I was very lucky to photograph and meet Desmond Tutu and Sir Trevor McDonald and get a fantastic new job at DP!
I am hoping for lots more photographic success this year but who knows what the next 12 months will hold... :D

Mine was getting to photograph big cats up close at a special reserve in Kent - a scary but amazing experience!

it has only been just over 15 months since i picked up my first SLR and has been an interesting year for me.

reached 5000 views on flickr and trying to get that upto 15000 by then of this year.

got one of my photos in the final 26 for the country file calendar competition, this year i hope to get in.

launched my landscape and wildlife website recently and hope to get as many views as i can this year.

Planning to launch part-time as a wedding, portrait and commercial photographer in July so hopefully that will go well.

Just hope the growth and opportunities continue to arrive.

ps congrats everyone on your years successes and achievements.

Oh I don't know, I can think of many many ways. The sky's the limit, or now in the space age, Relativity is the limit.

It's been just a few days minus being exactly 2 years since I got my first DSLR, got a chance to take lots of photos, printed some photo-books as gifts for my friends, got some assignments as a photographer for private parties and was even given the opportunity to be a photographer for my Organization when Shakira visited last year. Maybe I should switch day jobs.

Still many more things to do, many many objectives to reach...
