Aperture vs Lightroom

Postby neilperry01 on Tue Nov 09, 2010 11:03 pm

Hi all,

I'll be ordering a brand new iMac in the next month or so and was wondering if someone could convince me about Aperture3 and whether I should have it pre-loaded onto the machine when I buy it.

I've been an Adobe Lightroom user up until now but am always open to change so if someone has something good to say about Ap3 over LR then please let me know.

Thanks as always
Neil

Personally i would stick with what you know. I have used both Aperture and Lightroom and find Lightroom more intuitive and easier to use (although that's probably because I've used it for longer).

I have Aperture on my mac, but have just gone over to Lightroom, find Lightroom so much better and easy to use compared to Aperture.
